During a more formal exhibition, our partner (Tofu Never Screams Bookings) first encountered the works of Femke Verelst. Although the opportunity to connect in person was missed, the digital world made it easier, and Femke gladly accepted our invitation to join Kunst’s Not Dead @ GRONDSLAG 2.0. Femke describes her art as a way to create ‘distractions from her own mind, giving the chaos a place and crafting pieces you can stare at for a long time.’ Her work draws you in with intricate details, offering a meditative escape from mental noise.
